Manufactured by Paged Meble, Poland. The Cricket is a sophisticated retro style bentwood chair. The seat and backrest connecting elements creates the characteristic shape, which makes the chair appear lightweight and refined. The production technique involves bending beech wood under pressure and steam, reminiscent of the 19th-century technology associated with the golden era of the Thonet-Mundus brand. Paged Meble operated within the factory in Jasienica during the early 20th century.
