Malvasia is an outdoor seat that casts elegant and linear patterns of light and shadow through its metal weaves. Despite its apparent simplicity, the design represents a genuine production challenge: to shape the backrest and seat from a single perforated and calendered piece, and then weld them almost invisibly to the tubular frame. This particularly complex process pushes the metal to its flexibility limit, softening its impenetrable coldness. Evoking the warp and weft of fabric, as well as the play of shadows from a tree canopy, Malvasia is a seat that enhances any outdoor space, including terraces and gardens.
