Designed by Tomek Rygalik - Studio Rygalik for Paged Collection, Poland. Benko is a family of bent chairs with a visual language of the Thonet world. The family is characterised by a disciplined form relating to traditional bentwood furniture. The collection has a strong character thanks to its soft lines which provide a touch of feminine expression. The backrest is fitted with hand-made pleat. This way the non-obviously contemporary design of the chair combines two unique and vanishing technologies. The Benko is intended for cafés and restaurants, according to Thonet’s tradition.
