Manufacture by Paged Meble, Poland. A classic armchair, made largely by hand, using beech wood bending technology from the 19th century under the influence of pressure and steam. It requires the craftsman to have extraordinary dexterity and accuracy, which means that each produced copy carries some trace of the individual characteristics of a given master. The key parts from the design point of view are made mainly thanks to the work of human hands, the Ebony Wicker Armchair requires absolute precision from its contractors; symmetrical and accurate bending of a beech rod (in 3 dimensions), constituting the upper frame of the backrest is a true display of mastery.
A characteristic feature of the Ebony Wicker Armchair is the backrest filling material - there is a translucent mat supporting the reed weave placed on the top layer. This completes the picture of the whole piece of furniture as a monument to the perseverance and accuracy of human hands. The seat can be upholstered or left with a wooden face, depending on the customer's preferences.
The Ebony Wicker Armchair is the perfect complement to the sophisticated, tasteful interiors of hotels and restaurants. One of its many advantages is that its impressive appearance is due not to the rich ornamentation or work of many machines, but only to craftsmanship.
